How does one make their love feel special?

For a long time, Valentine’s Day felt like a product of marketing and economics to me. A single day, packaged and sold, asking us to prove something that should be felt every day.

I strongly believe that love isn’t meant to be celebrated just once a year. It lives in us every day.

But somewhere in my forties, my relationship with this holiday shifted.
