🤷‍♀️ Why Quality Over Quantity Matters

Recently, my bathroom shower had plumbing issues. The fixtures were only two years old, barely used—yet they failed. My plumber insisted I replace them with the same product. But why would I? If something didn’t work the first time, I’m certainly not repurchasing it.

As I dug deeper, I realized replacing it with a long-lasting option would cost me nearly $3,500 for what seemed like a small job—an expense I wasn’t expecting. That’s when it hit me: I could either settle for a cheap $38 fixture and face the same issue again… or I could invest in quality once and never worry about it for years to come.

The same applies to fine jewelry (and other parts of life). Quality pieces may feel like a bigger investment upfront, but they become timeless treasures—crafted to last for generations, not just a season.

While gold-plated or lab-created jewelry can be appealing for their lower price point, they often don’t carry the same durability, authenticity, or heirloom value as natural diamonds and solid gold. (in my humble opinion)
